Electrochemical Recycling Electronic Constituents of Value - E-RECOV

E-RECOV achieves 25% higher recovery, 75% less chemical reagent users, 30% lower water and electrical cost at 0 toxic emissions for full materials extraction performed entirely at room temperature.

Partner: Idaho National Labs (a DOE-funded FFRDC)

Advancing Sustainable Technology: Quantum Ventura's Partnership for Energy Innovation
In collaboration with Idaho National Laboratory (INL), a federally funded research institution, and Colt Refining & Recycling Inc., Quantum Ventura Inc. has received STTR Phase 2 and Phase 2A awards from the U.S. Department of Energy to the tune of $2.6MM in funding for the commercialization of the technology. Quantum has collaborated with INL on this project since 2019. Prior to that, E-RECOV was developed by INL over a 6 years span after being initially funded by the Critical Materials Institute.
